Have Questions?
What is CYAP?
CYAP (Community Youth Athletic-Academic-Art Program) is a community-based nonprofit focused on helping children and teens grow in three areas: academics, athletics, and the arts. Our goal is to provide a safe, positive space where young people can learn, move, create, and build confidence with support from caring adults.
How can I support or get involved with CYAP?
There are several ways to get involved:
Volunteer as a tutor, mentor, coach, or event helper
Partner with us through your school, business, or community group
Make a financial contribution to support programs and scholarships
Donate supplies, equipment, or services
Help spread the word to families who might benefit
Your time, skills, and support help CYAP reach more youth and families in our community.
What types of programs does CYAP offer?
CYAP offers a range of programs for children, teens, and families, including:
Academic support and homework help
Youth sports and fitness programs
Fine Art Gallery—Art classes, creative workshops, and cultural experiences
Early childhood enrichment activities
Parent and early fatherhood support programs
Community record Expungement program
Count Community YouTube and Local TV programs
Programs may vary by season, so we encourage families to check our current schedule for details.
What makes CYAP different from other youth programs?
CYAP is designed to support the whole child. Instead of focusing on just sports or just academics, we combine athletics, academics, and the arts in one program model. Youth can discover what they love, build new skills, and gain confidence in multiple areas. We also emphasize character, leadership, and community service, so young people are not only “doing activities” but also learning how to be responsible, kind, and engaged members of their community.
Who can participate in CYAP programs?
The CYAP serves children and youth in the local community, typically from early childhood through high school.
Some programs are open to all, while others are designed for specific age groups (for example, early childhood, elementary, middle school, or high school).
Parents and caregivers are also welcome to participate in select workshops, trainings, and family events.
