The Community Youth Athletic-Academic-Arts Program (CYAP) was founded in 2004 to give every child the chance to grow through sports, education, and creative expression. What began as a small neighborhood effort has grown into a network of programs supporting youth across Southern California—Temecula Valley and beyond.
We believe athletics, art, and education all play a role in shaping confident, compassionate, and resilient young people. Our goal is to provide access, mentorship, and opportunity, especially for children and families who might otherwise be left out.
CYAP operates as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization under the direction of Jiles and Dr. Sheila Mallett-Smith, community leaders committed to youth development, cultural enrichment, and lifelong learning.
· Jiles is presently a member of the Riverside County First5 advisory Commission
· Sheila is presently a member of the Riverside County Mental Health Commission

We create opportunities for every child to grow in confidence, character, and creativity, regardless of background or income. By connecting families, mentors, and community partners, we build pathways to lifelong wellness, learning, and success.
Our vision
We envision a community where every child has access to safe spaces to play, learn, and create. A place where sports build discipline, art fuels imagination, and education opens doors. CYAP strives to inspire the next generation of leaders who are strong in mind, body, and spirit, and who give back to the communities that helped them grow.

Our strength lies in our individuality. Set up by Esther Bryce, the team strives to bring in the best talent in various fields, from architecture to interior design and sales.
